Accred, Psychotherapist, Relationship Therapist & Supervisor

About me

I am a warm, non-judgmental, and approachable therapist. I provide a space to discuss the challenges you are facing, ensuring that you feel heard and understood. I specialise in couples therapy and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Couples and Relationship Therapy. My approach is integrative; therefore, I use Psychodynamic, Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Gestalt, and elements of Imago therapy. I also work with individuals and organisations. I offer clinical supervision, and I am the author of a self-help book called Dump the Baggage.

Couples and relationship therapy

Being in a relationship is deeply rewarding, but it comes with challenges, particularly if you have experienced negative childhood events or trauma. Navigating a relationship can reveal persistent patterns that may leave you feeling stuck, especially when issues with communication and conflict management arise. Whether you feel unheard or emotionally distant from your partner, I can help you identify the root causes of your relationship challenges. I will provide expert guidance and tools that can produce lasting success and support to assist you in navigating these changes so that you can communicate healthily and feel more emotionally connected.

Are you struggling to get along as a couple?

Do you find that you are constantly arguing with each other?

Do you feel there is increasing emotional distance and a lack of intimacy in your relationship?

I can support you in finding the answers you are looking for so that you can:

  • Improve communication
  • Resolve conflicts more healthily
  • Rebuild trust
  • Create a deeper emotional connection
  • Strengthen the relationship

Individual therapy

What sets me apart as a therapist is my specialisation in low self-esteem. Having low self-esteem can impact many areas of your life, including relationship choices, career, parenting, and emotional well-being.

You might appear “high-functioning” on the outside, but internally, you may not feel good enough.

In our sessions, we will explore the root cause, which often stems from childhood, and the negative core beliefs that may still shape your internal narrative. Together, we’ll work on understanding these patterns so you can have a healthier relationship with yourself.

Whether you're single, dating, married, or a parent, I can help you build stronger self-esteem so you can feel more confident.

Therapy can help you:

Increase self-awareness

Be more self-accepting

Establish and maintain healthier relationships

Set and maintain boundaries

I specialise in working with:

  • Couples and Relationship Therapy
  • Anxiety and Depression
  • ADHD
  • Low Self-Esteem
  • Trauma

Free 15-minute consultation

Choosing the right therapist is a deeply personal step in your healing journey.

It’s important to feel safe, heard, and truly connected to the person you’re working with. That’s why I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation — a gentle first step where we can talk through your needs, explore how I can support you, and give you space to ask any questions. This is your time to see if the connection feels right for you.

Congratulations on taking the first step; I know this is not always easy.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
