About me
I am a pluralistically trained therapist which allows me to use a variety of theories and techniques to tailor therapy to support your needs. I believe that you are the expert on your life and in your story, and you already possess the inner strength that will assist you in overcoming the things that challenge you - you may only need reminding! Taking the first step to seeking how to make changes in your life takes courage. My role is to support and guide you in this process through psychoeducation and a safe, informal, non-judgmental space where you are welcome to relax, be yourself, and come as you are and with however you feel!
There are numerous reasons for seeking therapy, and each of our reasons are equally valid. You may need an open and honest space to talk about your thoughts and feelings with someone impartial. It may be that you are feeling stuck repeating the same patterns of behaviour which may be negatively impacting your life. You may be experiencing anxiety, overwhelm and overthinking which can be a symptom of trauma or simply the challenges we face in our day-to-day lives.
My style of therapeutic work is holistic, intuitive, empathetic and encourages empowerment. I believe that you are the expert in your own life and that I am there only to help you explore issues productively and progressively while working at a level and pace that feels comfortable for you.
I welcome everyone to join me and encourage a neuro-affirmative approach to therapy and into a safe and secure space where we embrace both similarities and differences. I look forward to meeting you and working together to find new ways to live your life feeling more empowered, knowledgeable, confident, and happy. :)

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

As a neurodiverse therapist who was only diagnosed in adulthood, I have lived experience of how difficult it is to live with neurodiversity in a neurotypical world from the perspective of childhood and adulthood, what it means to go through the assessment process, and work from a neuro-affirmative approach.
