PSYCHOTHERAPY & PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC COUNSELLING
I am an MSc-qualified, BACP-accredited integrative psychotherapist, offering bespoke psychotherapy, psychotherapeutic counselling, and coaching tailored to your unique needs. Whether you are seeking long-term psychotherapy, short-term counselling (minimum 12 sessions), or a one-off single-session therapy, I provide a confidential, compassionate, and thoughtful space to explore your emotions, patterns of behaviour, relationships, and the complexities of life. I work with both personal and professional challenges, whether you are healing from the past, navigating the present, or preparing for what lies ahead.
It’s part of being human facing challenges, but sometimes these can feel overwhelming. Painful or distressing life events can prompt us to question deeply held beliefs, reassess our habitual responses, and consider new ways of being. Whether you’re navigating chronic anxiety, severe depression, emotional pain, destructive relationship patterns, complex trauma, physical pain, or significant life transitions, therapy with me offers a compassionate, confidential, and supportive alliance, grounded in empathy, trust, clinical expertise, and a nuanced understanding of human behaviour and its complexities.
We don’t get to choose our genetic or developmental beginnings, which can make the path of self-exploration challenging and intricate. But research shows that seeking professional therapy can significantly enhance the chances of emotional recovery and growth. Therapy can be a powerful, life-affirming experience, one that helps bring unconscious patterns into awareness, overcome relational or emotional struggles, and unlock your potential to live a fuller, more meaningful life.
INTEGRATIVE THERAPY APPROACH
My integrative approach allows me to work with your presenting issues in a way that’s most helpful to you and your understanding of your relational world. I help you create new possibilities and make different choices that can improve both your mental and physical well-being. Together, we’ll develop strategies to manage and work through your symptoms, regulate your nervous system, gain insight into the root causes of your difficulties, and strengthen your emotional foundations. This holistic process will support you in feeling more empowered, fulfilled, and at ease in your life, so you can thrive both personally and professionally
My relational therapeutic style is shaped by extensive experience in mental health, health and wellbeing, psychology, the corporate sector, academia, and high-performing industries. I have a strong capacity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships, where you feel truly understood and supported, combined with intellectual rigour, clinical expertise, and a wide-ranging knowledge of psychotherapy that’s tailored to your individual needs.
Together, we can explore your current and past experiences, find new ways of being in the present, and build practical coping strategies to support your psychological well-being. Think of it as exploring the ocean’s depths while also riding the waves. This process speaks to the whole of you, mind, body, and soul. It's not just about managing symptoms but about enhancing your overall well-being and empowering you to take an active role in your healing journey.
Integrative therapy is like an eclectic repertoire of therapeutic approaches. I draw on a broad range of evidence-based clinical methods and psychological therapies, chosen to suit your specific needs, personality, symptoms, and preferences. My integrative style is relational and empowering, with a strong emphasis on Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Attachment-based, and body-oriented approaches. I draw from trauma-informed neurobiological regulation methods, including the Polyvagal Theory, Transactional Analysis (TA), Existential theory, Mindfulness, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Somatic and Interpersonal Neurobiology.
WHAT RESULTS CAN YOU EXPECT?
The therapeutic process is a deeply personal and transformative journey that is unique for each of us. It requires dedication, effort, consistency, and a willingness to explore one's inner world, including thoughts, feelings, emotions, behaviours, and experiences. While therapy does not offer guaranteed outcomes, it can open the door to positive changes, such as:
- Develop calmer ways of relating to oneself
- Explore current life challenges and past experiences while building resilience for the future
- Gain insight into patterns that may be contributing to emotional or relational difficulties
- Recognise triggers behind unhelpful thoughts, feelings, or behaviours
- Develop greater awareness of how emotional and neurobiological processes influence your experience
- Learn to observe thoughts and feelings with greater perspective
- Experiment with new ways of responding to situations and relationships
- Work towards a greater sense of balance across different areas of life
- Challenge limiting beliefs or patterns that may have developed earlier in life
- Clarify personal values and goals that feel meaningful to you
- Develop deeper self-understanding and self-acceptance
- Approach life’s challenges with greater openness and flexibility
The changes you experience will be shaped by your needs and circumstances. This can include a noticeable reduction in symptoms, a stronger sense of self, more freedom in how you meet challenges, and the confidence to move forward with clarity and purpose.

INTERESTS, EDUCATION & TRAINING
In my free time, I love being active and outdoors. Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
