About us

Wondering How We Can Support You?

Our team at Serendipity Psychology is here to take the overwhelm out of the search for the right help and to offer support tailored to your unique needs. Whether you're grappling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, parenting difficulties or any mental health or wellbeing concern, our team of experienced and regulated professionals are equipped to guide you towards healing and growth.

We are a highly qualified team of specialist therapists working in-person across Northamptonshire and able to support you online across any area of the UK (and sometimes oversees).

Our team work across the lifespan with children, adults and older adults. We also work with individuals, couples, families and parents.

Discover How We Can Make a Difference:

At Serendipity Psychology, we understand that no two individuals are the same and that's why we take a uniquely personalised approach to your care. Our team of experienced psychologists, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, counsellors, mental health nurses and occupational therapists are trained in a wide variety of evidence-based treatments that have been recommended by the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) as the most successful approaches. Some of these therapies include cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), trauma therapies (such as EMDR), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), schema therapy and mindfulness (for a more exhaustive list, please see below). We work with you to integrate these modalities to create a treatment plan that's unique to you.

Perhaps differently from other independent practitioners, we are proud that we also work as a team. This is a huge benefit to you in many ways. It means the person working with you has access to the support and expertise of many other specialists in their respective fields. They also have constant access to internal continuing professional development and training. Best of all, we can build a pathway of care around you to ensure you always have support if you need it.

Together, we'll work towards building resilience, fostering self-awareness, and empowering you to overcome life's obstacles.

Training, qualifications & experience

Training and Qualifications:

All our therapists have a wide range of qualifications including postgraduate doctoral level training, degree level and, or masters level qualifications. Some of our therapists have all three of these! Our therapists have also gained significant further training in specific therapeutic modalities (i.e. EMDR, CBT, DBT), presenting issues and client groups (child, adult, couples and families). We are lucky enough to claim that we have some of the top-level specialists in the country working with us on out team and the best thing about this is that those specialists have signed up to offering all of our team their support and help in our work as we need it.

Everyone in our team is accredited or actively working towards accreditation with the best professional membership bodies including HCPC, BACP, UKCP and NCS so you can be assured that our team have received the training and experience they need to know how to help in the best possible way.
