About me

Hi there and welcome to my profile.  I am Dani, a psychotherapeutic counsellor based in Barry, South Wales for face-to-face sessions. I also offer sessions online, nationally and worldwide and can accommodate home visits for mobility and anxiety issues.

I work with clients with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, low self-esteem, neuro divergencies, grief, LGBTQ+ issues and much more. I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their challenges, enhance self-awareness, and work toward positive change.

I employ an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing on various modalities to tailor treatment to each client's needs. My approach is client-centred, fostering a collaborative and non-judgmental environment. Through compassionate listening and evidence-based interventions, I guide clients in understanding and addressing the root causes of their concerns.

I have very flexible working hours so I can fit into your schedule. I can work within your time zone if you live outside the UK.

I aim to make therapy as accessible as possible for you. With this in mind, I have the following options available:

  • Face to Face in BCS Counselling Service, Barry.
  • Online via Telehealth, Doxy. me, and WhatsApp
  • Telephone.
  • Text sessions via text message or WhatsApp.
  • Home visits within a 5-mile radius of BCS Mental Health Practise, or Llantwit Major

I regularly attend supervision which ensures I continue to work ethically and appropriately. I am continuously updating my skills and knowledge through continued professional development, reading, and keeping up to date with the most recent advances in psychotherapy, ensuring you are in safe and capable hands at all times.

I spent a year volunteering with an organisation called Ratcliffe and Brown where I worked with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, OCD, family issues, and low self-confidence.
