About me
I have needed therapy at points throughout my life and as a result I became a counsellor as I wanted others to experience what I had. Being a supportive, compassionate, non-judgemental therapist is important to me, I will be right next to you throughout your time in therapy. I will create a safe, ethical warm environment for you to explore your thoughts, behaviours, and patterns. We can work creatively or traditionally, whatever works for you. Together, we can begin to work towards the hope that brought you here.
I am an integrative therapist which means I draw on different theories to support whatever you bring to your sessions recognising difference and ensuring you feel supported. I regularly engage in professional development to ensure I can offer you the best possible service.
I have experience working in a hospice, young people's charity and drug and alcohol services. I work with adults, couples and young people over the age of 16. I am also experienced in working with those in leadership who may require a coaching and psychotherapeutic approach.
I am a professional member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists, the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and the Institute of Leadership and Management.
I can offer you face to face, online or weather dependant walk and talk if you are local to Bedford. Please call me or email me and I will respond within 24 hours. I also offer a free 20 minute exploratory session where you can see if I am right for you.
I look forward to hearing from you.
