About me

I'm a qualified Integrative Counsellor and an individual member with BACP - the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I work with a humanistic approach. I offer a 15 minutes free consultation to understand your needs and how we might work together.

My aim is to offer you a safe and confidential space where you are able to explore your thoughts and feelings freely.  I will work with you, at your pace and enable you to see and develop towards the outcome that you want to achieve.

I have supported people struggling with stress, low self-esteem, social anxiety, depression, autism, bullying, dysmorphia, imposter syndrome, emotional or physical abuse, trauma, PTSD, relationship difficulties, divorce, family issues, bereavement or simply coming to terms with challenges that life throws at us.

I am mindful of cultural and familial pressures and expectations and of the struggles facing people who come from diverse backgrounds or facing other hardships and traumas. Suffering in silence can lead to lonely, isolated places and depression.

The first step to reach out for help may not seem easy; But support is available. If I am unable to help you, I will be upfront and recommend other capable hands so that your needs will not be overlooked.

I have experience working with teenagers, young adults, individuals, couples and families. I work online, over the phone and face to face. I offer an initial no fee, no obligation 15-minute consultation and discovery time to understand your needs and if we are able to work together. If you are struggling please reach out and call me on 07531318863.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
