About me

I offer 15 minutes free consultation by phone in order to best meet your needs. I also offer concession for students/trainee or those who are in financial difficulty. Please contact or email me to discuss.

I am an experienced counsellor/Psychotherapist educated to degree level (BSc) and a registered accredited member of BACP, member of BPC, BPF, PA. Currently in 2nd year of MSc in Psychological Therapy: Research and Practice in Psychodynamic-Psychoanalytic at University of Exeter. I’m also a psychodynamic-psychoanalytic psychotherapist in training. I work within BACP, BPA, PPA ethics frameworks. My experiences include NHS, charity, community, & private institution and private practice.

My expertise is working with intercultural relationship/marriage and international students, multicultural background.

Before undertook counselling career, I was in business and trading professional, thus I have a sufficient amount of experience in business and leadership.

I have regular personal therapy as part of my core personal development for practising in this field, and attending regular CPDs, - Couple Work Therapy (Tavistock Relationships) Family Therapy (University of Exeter) , Eating Disorder (University of Exeter - MOOD Disorder) Domestic Violence, Domestic Abuse, Sleep therapy, Trauma, Identity.

Training, qualifications & experience

Currently I'm undertaking:
- MSc in Psychological Therapies in Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytic at University of Exeter (last year).

Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling

BSc (Hons) Psychology at University of Exeter

I trained and have experience from intercultural & multicultural backgrounds and perspectives.

I work with international students and individuals or couples from BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) community or mixed relationships/marriage.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
