About me
Hello and welcome to The Avenues Therapy Centre.
I currently offer counselling, hypnotherapy and life coaching.
I offer counselling for many different issues but my passion and background is focused on trauma and abuse and victims of crime. I have extensive experience working with victims of domestic and sexual abuse.
Sessions are held in my private, home based practice, which is confidential and comfortable. Parking is available on my driveway.
I have worked for many years in the Criminal Justice Sector, with both People on Probation, as well as those who have been victims of crime and abuse via Victim Support and the police. I am a qualified IDVA (Independent Domestic Abuse Advisor), with extensive experience in supporting survivors of domestic abuse, as well as childhood sexual abuse, sexual assaults, trauma and hate crimes.
I work from a pluralistic approach which means that I use different counselling approaches with my clients, tailoring your therapy to meet your changing needs at different stages in your therapy.
