About us
Safehaven Centre is a low-cost, online, and multicultural counselling centre.
We are a registered organisation of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). We have over 30 counsellors/psychotherapists working with adolescents, adults, older people, couples and families.
Some of the issues we help with include Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression, Domestic Abuse, Identity, Stress, Sex & Relationship difficulties, Traumas and much more.
After assessing a client’s needs, we endeavour to match the client with an appropriate counsellor, based on their expertise, and the client’s preference.
All counsellors/psychotherapists on our team are members of a professional body, and they work in line with their trained approaches to counselling and psychotherapy.

Training, qualifications & experience
All our counsellors/psychotherapists are trained in different modalities of counselling and psychotherapy. Some have completed their practitioner training in full, while others are actively working towards achieving their full qualification and have been assessed as “fit to practice” by their various institutions.
All our counsellors/psychotherapists receive regular supervision as part of our commitment to good practice and in line with the BACP’s requirements.
Member organisations *
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Individuals: £30 per 50 mins Session OR £110 for 4 Sessions.
Couples: £60 per 60 mins Session OR £230 for 4 Sessions.
Family: £80 per 75 mins Session OR £310 for 4 Sessions.
