Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified Person Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist and NLP Practitioner. I have an B.A hons in fine art and have had training in other modalities including CBT. I have experience working with adults, families, and teenagers. Supporting, the needs of individuals, couples and families mental health, this includes; Depression, anxiety, eating disorders, neuro diverse, trauma, identity, relationships, mental health and more. Life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you’re navigating a challenging situation, feeling stuck in old patterns, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, the journey towards well-being is unique for everyone. That’s why I believe in a flexible and integrated approach to counselling, one that honors your individual needs and empowers you to find your own path.
As a person-centred counsellor, my core belief is in your inherent capacity for growth and self-discovery. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you are truly heard and understood. This means focusing on your experience, your feelings, and your unique perspective, creating a relationship built on trust and empathy.
While person-centred therapy forms the foundation of my practice, I also draw from a diverse range of therapeutic tools and techniques. My training as an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner allows me to help you explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are interconnected. We can work together to identify limiting patterns and develop new, more resourceful ways of thinking and acting.
I’ve also received training in other modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This allows us to explore the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and find practical strategies to manage challenging situations.
But therapy isn’t just about talking. I understand that sometimes, words aren't enough to express the depth of our feelings. That’s why I embrace creativity in the counselling process. I offer the opportunity to explore your emotions and experiences through art. Whether it’s drawing, painting, or even just doodling, art can be a powerful tool for self-expression and gaining new insights. It can be a way to unlock feelings you may not have been able to articulate otherwise, and it's always offered as an option, not a requirement.
Ultimately, my goal is to tailor our sessions to what feels most comfortable and supportive for you. I believe in the power of integration – blending the best of different approaches to create a truly personalised experience.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
