About me

The connection you find with your therapist is ultimately what will help you to move forward, therefore I offer an initial conversation to see how we fit. I would hope to provide you with a warm, compassionate, confidential, safe space to really speak your truth. Together we can unravel the issues that you face whether these are internal or external pressures.   Are you Suffering from the consequences of menopause, an empty nest or just being one of the sandwich generation? Maybe you are neuro-diverse and seeking some understanding in a neuro-typical world. You may suffer from anxiety, depression or self-harm and it’s impacting your life. You may have relationship problems - which could be any relationship, be it work, romantic, family, or generally. You may need to come to therapy together to work through these issues or come alone to negotiate a separation. Grief might have overwhelmed you and you need to talk.  Have you suffered some trauma or problems with addiction? Are you struggling to find acceptance as an LGBTQ++ person, or indeed just not feeling very content in life? Life throws challenges of varying magnitudes, people have coping mechanisms that are sometimes not working for them, self-worth may be lacking, and you need support with this. We are all unique, as are our challenges.

I am a trained Psychotherapist and counsellor who relies on a holistic range of experience with no judgement and a lifetime of understanding of the complexities of people's diverse, lived experiences. I trained many years ago with Cruse Bereavement before becoming certified in Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy and Counselling. Together we will apply challenge to your inner belief system to develop a sense of peace and understanding so that you can move forward. Using an integrated approach that is client-led I will listen without judgement and use the experience, tools, and knowledge I have gained to work with you, walk beside you, to get you to a better place.
