About me

Stressed, anxious or depressed? Maybe confused or suffering trauma? You’re in the right place. I’m a bilingual counselling psychologist and life coach, specialising in CBT, Psychodynamic and Solution-focussed therapy, as well as personal development and resilience. I am passionate about therapy so whatever it is you want to work through, I am more than ready to help. I believe in therapy being holistic and tailored to you as an individual with unique needs, which is why I use a range of therapies to best suit you. I know how difficult talking and opening up can be, I’ve been there myself as a young man struggling to open up but now here I am a counsellor hoping to help others do what I could not. I want to help you gain the tools and coping mechanisms necessary for you to thrive in life and deal with any issues that might arise.

I am very sporty. I enjoy the gym and I play football, tennis, and badminton and run 400m in athletics. Also a massive foodie, very social and adventurous. Love the outdoors.

My passion lies with helping people, whether that is to improve mental health, to grow as a person or to reach their full potential. I relish a real and genuine therapeutic relationship, so I value being myself as much as possible.

I hope to encourage you to do the same by providing a safe, warm and open environment where you as the client set the pace. Honesty is key - even if you don’t like something about the way I work, talk to me - we can work on it.

I continually develop my profession through training and gaining knowledge of modern and new approaches.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
