About me

I am an experienced and compassionate trauma-informed humanistic integrative psychotherapist with over 10 years of dedicated service to helping individuals of all ages. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in diverse settings, including as a university counselor, with refugees, in medical insurance, and in NHS settings. This breadth of experience has allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of presenting problems.

My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in evidence-based practices, drawing from fields such as neuroscience and somatic practices. I also prioritize cultural affirmation and take a solution-focused approach to empower my clients. While I have a diverse toolkit of techniques at my disposal, I strongly believe in tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs and concerns of each individual I work with.

Creating a safe and confidential environment is of utmost importance to me. I strive to establish a therapeutic relationship built on trust, where clients can truly be themselves and feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and emotions. By fostering this sense of safety, I aim to empower my clients to explore their inner worlds and navigate their challenges with confidence.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is the opportunity to connect with clients at a deep, meaningful level. Through my genuine presence, openness, and curiosity, I am able to delve into their unique experiences and support them in their journey of self-discovery and growth. Clients often describe me as warm, empathic, attentive, and astute, reflecting the care and dedication I bring to every therapeutic interaction.

I am truly passionate about the work I do and consider it a privilege to support individuals on their path to healing and transformation. Together, we can work towards overcoming obstacles, embracing personal strengths, and creating a more fulfilling and empowered life.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
