About me

I am an experienced UKCP accredited psychotherapist with a Masters in Mindfulness Core Process Psychotherapy.

Psychotherapy is a confidential relationship to explore what is happening in your life. Any challenge or issue in your life that is causing you difficulty and suffering may be a reason for seeking psychotherapy. Psychotherapy can address specific issues as well as offer the support to explore the patterns and process that affect how you experience yourself.

As a psychotherapist I work with adults of all different genders, ages and backgrounds. I have supported many people to work through and resolve difficulties or to develop greater awareness. This has included people seeking help with: personal development, relationship concerns, bereavement, anxiety, stress, trauma, PTSD and CPTSD, anger concerns, lack of life direction and spiritual crisis - to name a few.

I will acknowledge what you are seeking help with and approach this in a way that helps to reveal what is required for change to occur. This is supported by my approach of working in-the-moment with awareness of the body, emotional and mental experience. At each step in this process I pay attention to what is happening in the present and support you to do the same - as it is only in the now that we have the capacity for meaningful growth, learning and change.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • UKCP accredited psychotherapist
  • Masters in Mindfulness Core Process Psychotherapy

Core Process has been developed as a therapeutic approach derived from a blend of Buddhist practice and Western psychology. It is the original Mindfulness based approach to psychotherapy in the U.K. and involves an exploration of our present experience. By paying attention to ourselves in the present moment we may become more aware of our feelings, sensations, thoughts and attitudes. With increased awareness we can discover our past conditioning, the impact this has had on our lives, and the limitations we place upon ourselves in the present. Together we will explore how this is for you, and we can look at the deeper reasons behind your concerns and difficulties.
