About me

I am an experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist with an established practice offering confidential therapy and counselling in-person in Bethnal Green, East London, and online therapy across the UK. I provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you can talk freely and begin to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

People seek therapy for many reasons, and I work with a wide range of issues, including:

- Anxiety, stress, and feelings of sadness
- Depression and emotional overwhelm
- Low self-esteem and low self-confidence
- Relationship issues and family problems
- Bereavement, grief, and loss
- Addiction and obsessions
- Questions around identity, belonging, and loneliness
- Questions around sex and desire
- ADHD, autism, and neurodiversity
- Early relational patterns and attachment difficulties
- Suicidal ideations
- Feelings of isolation and not 'fitting in'

Whether you're experiencing a specific crisis or navigating emotional difficulty, therapy offers a space to better understand yourself and develop new ways of coping. Many clients come to therapy feeling stuck in relationships, work, or life and want help making sense of what's going on.

Some people arrive in therapy with a clear idea of why they’re here, while others may feel uncertain and come because something just doesn't feel right. You do not need to have all the answers. An initial consultation can help unpack what is causing you difficulty and this in itself can bring emotional relief.

I work psychodynamically, which means we’ll explore not only what’s happening now, but also the deeper roots of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

Inclusive, warm, open, and thoughtful Practice:

I work with adults from a diverse range of backgrounds and life experiences, including those navigating questions around gender, sexuality, culture, neurodiversity, and identity. Whoever you are and whatever brings you to therapy, I will meet you where you are with warmth, curiosity and provide you with a confidential and nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself.

First Steps:

Starting therapy can feel daunting and finding a therapist who feels like the right fit is important. My priority is creating a warm, nonjudgmental, and confidential space where you can freely express what’s on your mind. The initial session/s is a chance to talk about what’s brought you here, ask any questions you may have, and see how it feels to work together and then decide if you would like to proceed.

Sessions last 50 minutes and are held weekly, either in-person in East London or online. I offer both short-term and open-ended psychotherapy, depending on what feels right for you.

Together, we can explore anything that may be troubling you and together, we can work towards change.

If you’d like to arrange a first session or have any questions, please feel free to get in touch. I’d be happy to hear from you!

BPC
British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC)

The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) is a professional association, representing the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

The organisation is itself made up of fourteen member organisations and BPC accredits the trainings of its member organisations. An individual who qualifies from one of these trainings is then eligible for entry into the BPC's register.

BPC registrants are governed by a code of ethics, a policy of continuing professional development, a statement on confidentiality and a complaints procedure. The BPC is a Member Society of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the Public Sector (EFPP). Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
