About me

Welcome. I am a fully qualified and passionate counsellor working in a genuine, warm, and compassionate way underpinned by the whole person approach – a holistic exploration of the mind, body and soul. Feel free contact me to book a free 15 minute call to explore how we can work together.

I believe in the power of healing and growth, so my approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and respect for your unique experiences on your journey towards a place of freedom and hope. Everyone deserves to have a warm and confidential space where they can freely explore their thoughts and feelings while feeling safe, accepted and heard, allowing you to make sense of experiences from the past that may feel unresolved, or to explore issues that concern you about the present or future. I support and empower you to understand your internal world and grow greater clarity, self compassion and inner peace, allowing you to come home to who you truly are.

A key part of my approach is the understanding that each person is unique, each of our nervous systems is a unique response to our different life experiences, and I believe therapy needs to honour this uniqueness with a tailored service suited to your individual needs. I believe we all have an innate ability to live a life we love and become who we are truly meant to be. Together we can work to identify and overcome limiting beliefs, past life experiences and expectations of self that may be holding you back from reaching your true potential.

I offer trauma informed, kink aware, LGBTQ+ positive therapy and ensure this is a safe space for everyone. Whether you feel overwhelmed with feelings of anxiety, traumatic experiences, low self worth, struggling with addiction, depression, ADHD, family issues, lonliness, domestic abuse, or you're struggling to navigate the stress of daily life - it would be an honour to join you on your journey, supporting you as you reclaim your strength, resilience, and inner peace.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
