About me
My professional journey has led me through various roles including working in adult Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) in both secondary care and inpatient settings, contributing to Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and assisting schools in establishing trauma-informed care. Additionally, my experience extends to cancer services, child protection in social services, and mental health care in diverse physical health environments.
In addition to my professional commitment, I personally identify as a member of both the LGBT and neurodiverse communities. This personal connection enhances my understanding and empathy towards the unique challenges faced by these groups. My practice is thus deeply informed by my own experiences, enabling me to provide a genuinely inclusive, supportive, and respectful environment for clients who share these aspects of identity.
Training, qualifications & experience
As a Clinical Psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, my qualifications encompass extensive training in core therapeutic approaches. This includes proficiency in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and a diverse range of models such as psychodynamic therapy, systemic therapy, family therapy, and advanced Third Wave CBT methods. My doctorate represents a deep commitment to understanding and applying these varied techniques effectively in a therapeutic setting, and the approach we take is tailored to your needs, informed and guided by yourself
My expertise lies in blending advanced therapeutic methodologies with a compassionate approach to address complex mental health challenges. Trained in EMDR therapy, I am also proficient in a range of treatments including DBT, CBT, CFT, ACT, and systemic Family Therapy. My practice is further enriched by my experience with ISTDP and a psychodynamic approach.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
