My expertise lies in blending advanced therapeutic methodologies with a compassionate approach to address complex mental health challenges. I am trained in EMDR therapy and proficient in treatments like DBT, CBT, CFT, ACT, and systemic Family Therapy, enriched by experience in ISTDP and a psychodynamic approach.
In my career, I've worked in adult Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) in both secondary care and inpatient settings, and contributed to Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). My experience extends to trauma-informed care in schools, cancer services, child protection in social services, and mental health care in various physical health contexts.
I am dedicated to integrating community-based research into my practice, focusing on enhancing wellbeing in educational settings and delivering culturally sensitive mental health care. I am particularly committed to supporting refugees with therapeutic approaches that respect diverse cultural backgrounds.
As a member of both the LGBT and neurodiverse communities, my personal experiences enhance my understanding and empathy towards these groups. This perspective informs my practice, creating an inclusive and empathetic environment for clients from these communities.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
