About me

I’m an Integrative Counsellor & Coach, AKA a Personal Consultant. Who’s known for a deep level of compassion and loves uniqueness. Everyone is unique and brings something different but equally interesting to the world.

I like to offer my service in not only helping you to overcome challenges but with discovery and an ability to use what’s discovered for helping you look into the future and changing things up within a structured approach.

We can do this together by being holistic. I use the Personal Consultancy framework to help you achieve this, by pulling together from a wide array of Counselling, Psychotherapy & Coaching approaches when the timing is right for you.

Creativity is a something of mine and we can work together in finding unique, personal but creative ways of exploring, understanding and changing rather than taking off the shelf.

You probably here now because something doesn’t seem to feel right, something is troubling you? A desire to known more, understand, change, be someone different? Unable to fully explain yourself to yourself? Not where you thought you would be in life? Perhaps you find yourself not fitting in?Holding something in silence and starting to get the feeling its eating away at you and your life?

My door is open for us to work together, with whatever you chose to bring. I believe that everyone has the ability to lead a happy and fulfilling life where they hold the ability within themselves to find a way forward.

Depression | Anxiety | Burn out | ODC | Addiction | Trauma | Stress | Low Self-Esteem | Low Confidence | Family Issues | Abuse | Bereavement | Career Changes | Life Coaching | Leadership Coaching | Coaching | Emotional Regulation | Drugs | Drinking / Alcohol | Anger |  Sadness | Conflicts | Relationships |

I vison our way of working no differently to explorers, where you hold the compass and I hold the map. Collaborating jointly as we explore and understand. We are of equals and simply put, people just trying to get by in this world day to day.

Its sometimes thought that counsellors, psychotherapists and coaches are the experts in life and the self. I view this as a misconception. We are not experts, nor should we be placed on a pedestal. I like to view you as the expert in yourself and your world.

I'm skilled in using CBT, Person Centred, Existentialism, Psychodynamics, Solution Focused, ACT, Mindfulness, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis with a wide range of Coaching approaches and techniques

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
