Whether this is your first experience of therapy or you have worked with a therapist before, my approach may feel a little different. I offer a thoughtful blend of psychotherapy and coaching, working at a pace that feels right for you.

Together, we explore the patterns that shaped your past, make sense of your present experiences, and begin to shape the direction of your future. The aim is not simply to cope with life’s challenges, but to help you move forward, gain clarity, and become unstuck.

For some people, traditional therapy can feel overwhelming, passive, or lacking direction. It can leave you with insight but little sense of how to move forward. My approach aims to bridge that gap by combining depth of understanding with forward movement.

Through our work together, we can begin to loosen the hold of old patterns, deepen your understanding of yourself, and create meaningful change. The focus is not on quick fixes, but on lasting transformation and a greater sense of balance, clarity and purpose.

My work is relational and integrative, drawing from a range of counselling, psychotherapy and coaching approaches through what I call the Personal Consultancy method. A collaborative way of working that supports both deep reflection and meaningful progress.

What to expect from working with me:

  • A collaborative, respectful space centred on your growth
  • Honest dialogue built on trust
  • Tools, insight, and strategies tailored to you
  • A balance of deep exploration and practical direction

We’ll use therapy to understand what’s shaped you, and coaching to help you move forward with purpose. Think of our work as a journey, you hold the compass, I hold the map. The work is collaborative, not something done to you, but something we create together.

As a Therapist-Coach, I’m here to support you in becoming grounded, confident, and fully yourself. Bringing attentiveness and curiosity to your sessions, supporting you in reconnecting with your values, strengths and inner clarity.

Areas I work with include:

  • Anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, addiction, compulsive behaviours, stress, trauma
  • Relationship difficulties, family issues
  • LGBTQ+ and identity exploration, alternative relationships, ENM, open relationships
  • BPD/USPD
  • Life/career transitions

A bit about me:
I volunteered at CGL/BDAS Bromley, supporting individuals in recovery from addiction until recently. As a previous career, I also spent 13 years in software engineering, including leading high-performance teams.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me at the gym, swimming or cycling and spending time gardening. While enjoying music events and traveling.

I also lead research into effective therapy and coaching with UK universities and the BACP, continually growing in how I support clients.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
