About me

Whether you are navigating a crisis, battling with your emotions, facing relationship issues, experiencing work-related challenges or just feel that you would like to get a better understanding of yourself, counselling and psychotherapy can help.

As your therapist, I will embrace a non-judgmental, reflective approach driven by careful listening, curiosity, warmth and empathy. This approach will enable us to engage in a deep exploration of past and current experiences and feelings, ways of relating to others as well as the underlying causes of thoughts and actions that may be getting in the way of living a more fulfilling life.

We will work together at your own pace and in a relational way, where our therapeutic relationship, built on trust and confidentiality, will play a crucial role in addressing thoughts and actions that are not serving you. This process aims to deepen your self-awareness, enhance your emotional intelligence, and facilitate the healing of past emotional trauma.

I offer both short-term and long-term in-person and remote therapy.

Next steps

If you think I can be of help, please feel free to contact me for a free 15-minute telephone consultation, where I can get a sense of what brings you to therapy.  Upon mutual agreement, we can then arrange a first consultation, where we will get to explore whether we make a ‘good therapeutic match’ and discuss how to proceed.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
