About me

Hello, I am Leah an Integrative Counsellor based in Lancashire.

I have always found an interest and deep empathy for individuals, and value the power and uniqueness of all people. Importantly, also enabling and holding the space for others to discover their own unique power of self and their own capabilities in a safe and comfortable environment is remarkable.

All too often those difficult feelings and emotions are bypassed, ignored or invalidated, which unfortunately can lead us to feelings of helplessness, uncertainty, low self-esteem and confusion. In my own journey of counselling, I have allowed parts of myself to be acknowledged, to be vulnerable, to grow and to encourage my own empowerment.

I believe, that although life may not always seem, feel or look too great, life can be well-balanced and well-managed with a more positive mindset, and the journey of self-discovery creates those skills within us to practice each day.
