About me
Hello, and a very warm welcome to you. Making the decision to start therapy can be a difficult step, but a positive and rewarding one for many. I am a warm and compassionate integrative therapist offering both indoor face to face counselling and online sessions, as well as outdoor walk and talk therapy. You as a person are at the centre of my approach.
When life becomes overwhelming, it can be surprisingly helpful to speak to someone who really listens, with warmth, understanding, and without judgment. My aim is to provide a welcoming, safe, and confidential space for us to explore the challenging issues that may have brought you here today.
Together we will work through any difficulties you’re facing, whether that be anxiety, depression, bereavement, low self-esteem, stress, or relationship issues to name a few. We all have times when life gets tough, maybe you’re feeling sad, worried, or stuck and unable to move forward. That’s perfectly okay. Everyone goes through hard times. This is where I can help.
Therapy is an opportunity to express your thoughts, feelings, and emotions in a non-judgemental space with someone who is genuinely present, supporting you with empathy and compassion. My private practice is a warm, welcoming, calm environment where we can talk about anything that is troubling you in complete confidence. Together we will find new perspectives, process your deepest feelings, identify effective coping strategies, and explore your needs in order to make positive change and live a more fulfilling life.
I have a particular interest in bereavement, grief, and loss. My own experience of a sudden and unexpected loss has given me a deeper understanding of the journey you go through when losing someone close to you. Grief is a deeply personal and unique process, and I respect that everyone copes differently. Whether you’re mourning the loss of a loved one, dealing with a significant life change, or experiencing any form of loss, I am dedicated to helping you navigate your emotions and find healing in your own time and way.
Through our therapeutic conversations, we will explore the complexities of grief, uncovering the layers of emotion that may be difficult to express elsewhere. Together, we’ll work to make sense of your experiences, allowing you to find meaning and acceptance amid the pain.
I firmly believe that you possess the inner strength to heal, and my role is to facilitate and support your journey. You are not alone in this process, and I am here to provide guidance, empathy, and a listening ear as you navigate the path of grief and loss. Together, we will honour your memories, process your emotions, and help you move toward a place of greater peace and understanding.
Ecotherapy
In addition to face to face counselling indoors, I offer something a little different – Ecotherapy, often referred to as walk and talk therapy. This involves our sessions taking place in the great outdoors, allowing us to walk and engage in conversation amidst the beauty of nature. If the idea of sitting in a room feels overwhelming or if you find solace in nature, ecotherapy might be a good fit for you.
Initially, the first session takes place indoors to discuss the goals of therapy and address the practical aspects of outdoor therapy, such as privacy and weather conditions. For subsequent sessions, we can enjoy the natural beauty of the woodlands, fields, and surrounding areas located close by.
I genuinely believe that the connection and relationship between you and your therapist forms the heart of the therapeutic journey. Building a trusting relationship where you feel able to let go of any pretences and genuinely express your authentic self is crucial in therapy being successful. I offer an initial complementary 15 minute telephone conversation to discuss what you would like to gain from therapy, and it’s a chance for you to decide whether I feel like the right fit for you.
You are warmly invited to contact me using WhatsApp, or email for an initial conversation, or to book a session. Alternatively, you can visit my website by clicking the link at the top of this page and completing the confidential enquiry form.
I want to remind you that you are not alone, I am here to support you on your journey, to listen, and to offer guidance. Your story matters and I am ready to help you write the next chapter – one filled with hope and positive change.
If you feel ready to take that first step, I’m just a message or phone call away. Whether it’s to ask a question, share a concern, or start your counselling journey, I’m here to listen and help.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
As an integrative therapist, I draw from various psychological theories to create a tailored approach that meets your individual needs. You are not expected to fit the therapy, the therapy is aimed at fitting around you.
I provide counselling and psychotherapy to individual adults and young people. Sessions are usually once a week, or fortnightly. Although there is no requirement for a fixed number of sessions, I do recommend a minimum of six to ensure substantial progress.
Following our initial contact either via phone or email, if you decide you would like to continue, we will schedule our first face-to-face/online session together at a time that is suitable for you. During this session, we will talk about what has led you here today and discuss the goals you hope to achieve out of therapy. I will answer any questions you may have. If you feel like I’m the right counsellor for you then the next step would be to schedule regular sessions at a day and time that works for you.
For more information about how I work and what issues I can help with you’re welcome to visit my website. Feel free to get in touch, I’m more than happy to answer any questions or queries you may have.
