Gilli Harrison (Registered MBACP)
Hi, my name is Gilli and I am an experienced qualified compassionate person-centred Counsellor.
Do you feel sometimes that you don’t know whether you are coming or going and your feelings are starting to overwhelm you? You just can’t see the wood for the trees and life is beginning to feel like one long up-hill struggle and you're battling every step of the way on your own, you feel confused, frustrated and depressed.
Life can be hard at times and things happen which create difficulties that overwhelm us, such as bereavement and loss, arguments, relationship problems, separation and divorce, work or family issues, children, the list can feel endless. Feelings of stress, anxiety and depression can bring about a feeling of loneliness and isolation, you just don’t not know which way to turn.
It helps to talk to someone who is not directly involved in your life who will listen and can feel and understand where you are coming from, someone who is not critical or tells you what to do, someone who can see it from another persons point of view. Talking is therapy, it helps us to share our difficulties with another person and feel supported, as the saying goes “two heads are better than one”.
I offer a supportive, non-judgemental, accepting, professional and confidential service where you can be yourself.
I am based in Old Amersham and cover the Buckinghamshire area. I offer a warm, friendly comfortable environment. I am a 10 minutes drive from M25 Junction 18 (Rickmansworth) and M40 Junction 2 (Beaconsfield)
