About me
Hi, my name is Brigitte and I am an experienced counsellor living and working in Bath, England. I have also lived and worked overseas which has given me a deep understanding of a wide variety of cultures and attitudes. By looking on this website you have already taken the first steps to finding your way through your situation. Sometimes this is not an easy step to take but I can reassure you that I will walk alongside you to work through the issues that bring you to counselling and to move forward positively with your life.
I can offer you a safe, confidential and non- judgemental space either in person, online, over the telephone or a 'walk and talk'. We can explore any aspects of your life that you wish to look at and I will be alongside you when you explore your emotional being and it will all be in your own time and at your own pace. I am completely dedicated to supporting people to find the peace and clarity which they may seek and indeed which everyone deserves.
My sessions are always centred on the client that I am dealing with and I am trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques. The sessions are an hour long, ideally on a weekly basis, and it is up to you to decide how many sessions you feel you need. I work with short term and long term clients.
I am experienced in forming strong and trusting therapeutic relationships with my clients based on compassion and empathy which allows clients to feel supported in a comfortable environment of trust and support.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am trained to Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice and registered with the National Counselling Society.
I have a Level 5 certificate in Working with Children and Young People, and offer counselling to 13+ years of age.
I also have a Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills
I have extensive knowledge and experience when dealing with Narcissistic abuse, both professionally and personally.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
