About us

We have been established in the St Helens & Southport area since 2001. We have a team of Counsellors who have undertaken or are taking recognised training to Diploma level offers professional counselling.

About You UK is affiliated with Professional Bodies and works with their Code of Ethics. All our counsellors are qualified to diploma level and are Fit to Practise. We offer counselling across a broad range of problems, always seeking to expand our services into new areas of counselling to meet the growing needs of a troubled society.

About You UK, counsellors will help you explore your problems in a non-judgemental atmosphere. Both male and female counsellors are available to help you explore your problems.

Counselling is available from age 5 upwards.

Training, qualifications & experience

About You UK, provides a professional level of counselling training, from Levels 3 - 6 complete packages to enable you to become a Professional Counsellor.

Formally the Philippi Trust and now About You UK, we have developed rapidly and have become one of the leading providers of counselling training in the UK. The head office for training is in St Helens, Merseyside, and we have training centres in Southport & Cornwall however we will take our courses anywhere in the country.

About You UK exists to provide professional levels of counselling and counselling training. As a team, we want to provide you with the best possible learning experience and to help you as an individual on your chosen course.

The Association of Christian Counsellors and Linked Professions is a professional body representing and setting standards for Christian counselling and care in the UK. The organisation is made up of various different membership categories, including Counsellor and Accredited, and requires all members working as counsellors to undertake Continuous Professional Development on a regular basis.
