About me

Hello and welcome.

Do you find anxiety, low mood, panic attacks are taking over your life?

Do you feel trapped, alone and like there is no way out? 

 I know first-hand how much courage it takes to stand up to anxiety and depression, which is why I am truly happy you are here.

I am an experienced integrative qualified counsellor, Lecturer in counselling and a clinical supervisor 

Our therapeutic relationship is key to helping you find a way to overcome your struggles, feel calmer, happier, more confident and you can feel change is possible. I will provide you a therapeutic, safe, non-judgemental confidential space for us to talk and explore your issues and concerns whether it be in the current or past.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am qualified and work in an integrative way as I believe not one size fits all. The modalities we will use are Person Centred, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), depending on your unique needs and wishes. I am here to support you and walk with you while you explore your internal pain and struggles.

I am also a lecturer in Counselling and Psychotherapy and one of my missions is to educate and break down the shame and stigma attached to addressing mental health & mental wellness.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

I offer a 20-minute telephone consultation free of charge, this will enable you to make sure you feel safe having me as your therapist. The rates for an hour are as follows:

  • £40 online via zoom
  • £45 face to face
  • £35 student

I understand that cancellations are unavoidable, I ask that you please provide me with 24hrs notice or you may be liable for the cost of your appointment.
