Therapy is a genuine way for you to explore, understand and improve your life.
To change and influence with the tools to help yourself. Sessions are 50 minutes I do work in a very different way to most therapists, I can set tasks in between sessions with specific handouts which I have developed. Supporting you to challenge anything that is holding you back, any thoughts, feelings or behaviour that interferes or blocks your positive development.
I will help you to set achievable goals, to process ways to change whatever is upsetting you. Sessions can work at a much faster rate empowering you between sessions with homework in between. This means with my support, you will explore effective processes to help you make positive life choices, establishing real changes and experience empowering growth.
When life feels overwhelming it can affect relationships, work, health, emotions, feelings and behaviour. It’s really important to talk things through unconditionally. I will help you to explore unconscious triggers from your past which can feel very challenging, I will teach you successful journaling, to help you feel empowered, to make significant life changes. You will develop insight and awareness, prioritise your own needs and set strong boundaries. It’s time to make life changes so do reach out now and contact me. As an experienced therapist and clinical supervisor, I bring over forty years of experience to work with you to help you to overcome any challenges, stress and setbacks that can hold you back in life. These times can be overwhelming and difficult, but change is possible. I work in a very different way from most therapists. I continue to develop, embracing an up-to-date research-based approach including Neurodiversity.
My focus is to help my clients to reach their full potential. Whether you are a successful actor dealing with a confidence crisis, someone battling to cope with depression, anxiety, work, relationships, home life, a student stressing about exams, experiencing too much stress, overthinking or worrying, trying to cope with anger, unhelpful behaviour or having too little happiness in your life.
Right from the very first session which is free, I will help you in several ways:
1) To explore your past and present thoughts, feelings, emotions, belief systems, patterns of behaviour, relationship issues (attachment, co-dependency) and any potential triggers. To focus on your needs, develop healthy relational boundaries and filters by setting achievable goals.
2) To empower you as my client to become your own therapist we will explore everything about your life at home, work, study, exercise, your sleep patterns, how you take care of yourself, food, supplements to support your full well-being.
To move your life forward, help you develop ways to take control, develop a much healthier life balance.
Homework in between sessions will empower and help you to focus on your own, towards becoming your very own therapist.
I have developed a depth of knowledge to support you, working with a variety of modalities including; (CBT) Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, (DBT) Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Families and Parts, Holistic, Psychodynamic, Analytical, Gestalt and Humanistic.
Life may feel unbearable at times but take some comfort from knowing that it will not last forever I am here to support you through sessions for as long as you need them.

Integrative Clinical Supervision Sessions
I will help you develop professional-client boundaries, relational skills, process your client work, help you to acknowledge challenging issues and focus on your developing needs.
I will help you to explore and develop the management of all client work, develop trust, safety, strong firm boundaries, integrate modalities with a focus on self-development... I will help you to develop firm ethical contracting, to manage, structure and organise clients at a highly professional level. I will support your development as you build therapeutic relationships with your clients, in private practice, group practice or placement. We will explore internal challenges, parallel processing, disassociation, process transference and countertransference, and experience real growth in confidence as a competent practising therapist.
I will also encourage and support your counselling professional development, including taking care of yourself and reflecting on a life/work balance.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

It's also an opportunity to see how we get along, if we are a good fit which is so important. Then book sessions with a focus on what you would like to achieve, personal goals, aspirations or just to talk through whatever is on your mind.
'Especially if you have previously struggled with therapy from an under-qualified or inexperienced therapist. Please do reach out I’m here to listen. It is common for underqualified therapists to unethically set up and practice doing more harm than good. They take online and very short courses. These unqualified therapists do more harm than good, will not have proficient Professional Qualifications, Training or Experience. The have no monitoring or regulation from Professional Clinical Supervision to protect you as their clients.'
