As a professional experienced Integrative Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor, I have developed a challenging and compassionate practice to help you focus on Short - Term Sessions and if required moving to Long -Term Sessions.
My focus is to help my clients to reach their full potential. Whether you are a successful actor dealing with a confidence crisis, someone battling to cope with depression, anxiety, work, relationships, home life, a student stressing about exams, experiencing too much stress, overthinking or worrying, trying to cope with anger, unhelpful behaviour or having too little happiness in your life.
Right from the very first session which is free, I will help you in several ways:
1) To explore your past and present thoughts, feelings, emotions, belief systems, patterns of behaviour, relationship issues (attachment, co-dependency) and any potential triggers. To focus on your needs, develop healthy relational boundaries and filters by setting achievable goals.
2) To empower you as my client to become your own therapist we will explore everything about your life at home, work, study, exercise, your sleep patterns, how you take care of yourself, food, supplements to support your full well-being.
To move your life forward, help you develop ways to take control, develop a much healthier life balance.
Homework in between sessions will empower and help you to focus on your own, towards becoming your very own therapist.
I have developed a depth of knowledge to support you, working with a variety of modalities including; (CBT) Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, (DBT) Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Holistic, Psychodynamic, Analytical, Gestalt and Humanistic.

Online Sessions are perfect to have in the comfort of your own home or private space and you will feel the benefit within your familiar surroundings. Make sure you have a good internet signal, create a safe, confidential and comfortable arrangement with a glass of water ready in good time just before our session.
Online apps are simple to use, just download your preferred online app - Skype, Zoom or VSee and add my details before the day of the session to confirm you are ready to use.

I worked for the NHS during which I undertook training and awareness in both physical and mental health settings. This enabled me to gain in-depth experience of working with the full range of psychological and psychiatric conditions out-patient settings, as well as experience of physical conditions whilst working in a variety of medical settings such as neurology, rheumatology and physical well-being.

We will explore negative thinking and bring a balance with positives, acknowledge and make sense of the past and begin to feel more in the present, establish firm and strong boundaries, identify your needs and begin to filter challenging behaviours or reactions, make beneficial changes and experience significant growth.
Together we can explore feelings and emotions that trigger trauma and begin to bear the unbearable, we can explore blocks, feeling blinkered or rigid thinking using gentle, small steps. We can work creatively using a sand tray, photographic images, chair work to process gently and move life forward.

Online sessions: Clients have found using Vsee which works for both PC or MAC much more reliable than using Skype, and MAC users also prefer using Zoom, you can experiment and explore which works best for you.
If you would like online sessions please do let me know which application, make sure you are in a confidential space and I will always add extra time if we experience any complications starting.
We can use any or all of the online application until we find which one works best for sessions and we can always use a telephone as a back up if the internet is not working.

Homework is an important part of experiencing growth outside of therapy sessions; together we can process and gain a deeper understanding of thoughts and behaviours through journal keeping, making sense through dream analysis, and establishing independence through tasks and assignments.

As an experienced, professional, Integrative Clinical Supervisor I provide Face to Face and Skype sessions.
I will help you develop professional-client boundaries, relational skills, process your client work, help you to acknowledge challenging issues and focus on your developing needs.
I will help you to explore and develop the management of all client work, develop trust, safety, strong firm boundaries, integrate modalities with a focus on self-development... I will help you to develop firm ethical contracting, to manage, structure and organise clients at a highly professional level. I will support your development as you build therapeutic relationships with your clients, in private practice, group practice or placement. We will explore internal challenges, parallel processing, disassociation, process transference and countertransference, and experience real growth in confidence as a competent practising therapist.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
