About me

I am a fully qualified Person Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist, & registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) offering a safe & reflective space for self exploration through gentle enquiry & empathic listening. I am also informed by Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness to offer a positive & solution focused therapy.

You might be feeling anxiety or depression in your daily life, or experiencing complications in your relationships. Maybe you have experienced a life-changing event like a loss, a divorce, a betrayal, an illness, stress, or a family conflict. Perhaps you're worrying about your son or daughter and need some clarity.

Pausing to explore your inner world can be empowering & being 'heard' can elicit answers & wisdom from deep within, which can be nourishing, cultivating growth to help us thrive.

I have experience working with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings and offer an intentional space to reflect on your thoughts, feelings and behaviour patterns, where you can begin to understand some of the unanswered questions buzzing around your mind, where in time, things become clearer & positive changes can be made.

I currently work in private practice with Young People (14+) & Adults and for the past three years at a renowned Warwickshire Independent School providing counselling and psychotherapy to both pupils and staff. I hold a enhanced DBS and personal indemnity insurance. I have also spent time working in various charitable organisations working with parents, adults and young people.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
