About me
I am an accredited psychotherapist that offers an integrative approach to counselling. Combining elements from different therapeutic modalities and theories, integrative counselling offers a flexible approach that allows sessions to be adapted based on a client's presenting issues, personality, cultural background and preferences. This flexibility offers a personalised and effective treatment plan, which seeks to foster integration and wholeness within.
This can include a diverse range of therapeutic modalities and techniques such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, (CBT), humanistic therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, dialectical behavioural therapy and more.
From a holistic perspective, we would consider the interconnectedness of your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, relationships and environment. Addressing not only the symptoms but also the underlying causes of your struggles. Promoting healing and personal growth on multiple levels.
The aim is to foster integration and wholeness within that helps you to reconcile conflicting aspects of yourself, developing a more coherent sense of identity, and cultivating a greater sense of well-being and fulfillment.
Using evidence-based practices I stay up to date with the latest research and incorporate new techniques as they emerge.
Experience
I have over ten years of comprehensive experience working with adults with complex issues such as abuse, anxiety, depression, attachment issues, and eating disorders and have an international client base.
I have extensive experience working with children and young people and have worked for local charities and organizations within a variety of settings. This includes working in schools and colleges offering counselling sessions and group work to children aged 5 years through to adults. I also worked at a local university for two years counselling young adults with a diverse range of issues.
Private Clients
I offer private counselling sessions from home in a modern and private room in Streetly, Sutton Coldfield. Alternatively, telephone, text or online counselling is also available.
Appointments are available Monday to Friday am and pm and Saturday daytime.

Postgraduate Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology - Keele University.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
