About me

The daily grind of commuting and the constant nagging doubt, 'Am I performing well enough?' can take a significant toll on our lives over time. Struggling to muster the energy to continue in this cycle can be challenging. It's often daunting to express these feelings to someone else. However, finding the bravery to identify and approach a suitable counsellor or therapist can prove to be a lifeline. I can attest to this, having not only sought therapy but also trained to become a therapist myself! For over a decade and a half, I have been fine-tuning an approach that has shown significant results in just six sessions.

How my approach works.

The notion that your life lacks purpose will vanish, giving more reason to everything you do. You start to embrace your true self, without any feelings of guilt or embarrassment, becoming more at ease in your own being. You reclaim your power, no longer feeling obliged to satisfy everyone while neglecting your own beliefs and necessities. You feel more equipped to connect emotionally as your overall life perspective improves. You will get to know yourself better and comprehend your core values. It's not about discovering yourself in life, it's about creating your own identity! I am here to guide you through this journey.

Training, qualifications & experience

Possessing firsthand experience with the pressures and challenges of high-level professional and personal life, I've navigated the course from holding Directorships at substantial organisations to carving out my own entrepreneurial ventures. In addition to these roles, I've offered guidance on Emotional Intelligence, mindfulness, and Mental Well-being in professional settings. My academic background includes a BA in Marketing Psychology, and I have been practicing psychotherapy in London for a decade. Now, I offer online services to a select number of clients.

My involvement with youth extends to mentoring with the Prince's Trust and counselling adolescents and young adults in schools. I also contribute as an ambassador for the charity Save The Children and serve as a visiting lecturer at Cranfield Business School, Praxis centre.

My areas of expertise include handling burnout, anxiety, trauma, dysfunctional teams dynamics, Emotional Intelligence Mindfulness, bullying, as well as loss and grief. My clientele includes professional athletes, celebrities, medical professionals, and business teams. I have comprehensive experience in tackling emotional and psychological issues.

During the summer, I host anti-stress and anti-anxiety programs aboard my private sailing yacht, offering a serene cruise through the Greek islands.

Transpersonal therapy takes a more holistic approach, addressing mental, physical, social, emotional, creative, and intellectual needs, with an emphasis on the role of fostering a healthy mind body and spirit.

Transpersonal therapy works to answer such questions as:

  • How can we alleviate own suffering by deeply re-connecting with who we really are?
  • How can we then feel more connected to others, the world, and the greater whole?
  • How can our spiritual selves help us and guide us through difficult times?
  • How can we find meaning and purpose in a changing world, and how can spiritual traditions and tools help with this?
  • How can we find our own true worth and potential, and by so doing recognise humanity’s highest potential?

Is transpersonal psychotherapy the right fit for you?

Here are some questions that might help you decide if transpersonal psychotherapy is for you.

  • Do you feel that there is more to life and to you than meets the eye, and you’d like to go deeper in finding what ‘lies beyond’?
  • Do you have a sense that all things are interconnected, that you are part of a bigger whole?
  • Would you like to be more connected to others and to feel more of a sense of purpose?
  • Are you interested in your spiritual wellbeing?
  • Have you found various spiritual tools of value in your life, or would like to experience more of them?

If you find yourself answering yes to these questions, then transpersonal therapy might be a good fit.

I usually work in an initial exploratory session in session blocks in order for us to get to know each other, to ensure we both feel comfortable working together. Thereafter we agree on ongoing sessions each week. We zero in on one of your key factors: for example, anxiety, loneliness, or depression.

Many people ignore all the warning signs, we get irritable and fatigued, we lack interest in anything, and we just patch it up and tell ourselves to keep going. Anxiety today is a common state that many ignore but it is a key sign. It can be frightening. We have to learn how to shift our mindset, set boundaries and listen to the warning signs instead of ignoring them. That way we can manage ourselves better for a more positive and rewarding way of life.

If you feel you are experiencing any of these symptoms please do not hesitate to contact me for an initial confidential consultation.
