About me
As an experienced Couples Therapist I can help with various relationship problems. I offer Couples Therapy sessions in a non-judgemental, balanced, inclusive and compassionate way. I support you both to find your way through challenges so you can experience more satisfying and loving relating.
Couples Therapy
Maybe you have tried to resolve issues yourselves but are now feeling stuck or overwhelmed? Perhaps you are looking for support with communication or intimacy?
I can support you with a whole range of issues that can arise in intimate relationship, such as:
- Difficult communication
- Arguments
- Infidelity
- Intimacy challenges, both physical and emotional
- Problems around different values
- Conflict about money
- Challenges with family and parenting
- Rekindling that loving spark
- Stresses around Life Transitions
How I can Help You
I help you explore issues in a way that feels safe, respectful and supportive. Your privacy is very important to me and I ensure confidentiality.
As well as the need to focus on your present situation it can sometimes be helpful to look more in depth to find the root of an underlying challenge. Conscious understanding of your own and your partner’s issues helps transform deep seated relationship problems.
The range of methods used are finely tuned to suit your particular needs and together with your willingness to engage with this work, openings can emerge for more harmonious and satisfying relating.
I am fully qualified and experienced in couples therapy having had a busy private couples therapy practice for over 9 years. I bring my experience, specialist training as well as my balanced awareness and compassionate approach to support you both.
Is it for Us?
My approach is inclusive and I offer a welcoming and empathetic setting for your sessions, working respectfully and sensitively with diverse experiences. I have worked with couples from a range of sexual orientations, ages, ethnic backgrounds, spiritual and religious beliefs and with different disabilities.
I’ve worked with couples where there is a range of neurodiversity, including where one or both people have a diagnosis or self-diagnosis of ADHD.
Working with couples from different cultures and living in different countries is something I also have experience of and welcome. My professional insurance covers working with couples living abroad (except in the US).
In Love?
You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from couples therapy. I have worked with couples who are in a really good place in their relationship who want to improve a certain aspect of communication or a particular issue with the in-laws for example. Choosing to strengthen the foundations of your relationship is so beneficial; preventing resentments building up in the future and enabling your relationship to be more how you desire it.
Contact Me
If you have any questions please feel free to call or e mail me. I offer a free introductory call and you can book a time for this from my profile. If you would like to see what it is like to work with me, we can arrange a no obligation, initial session online. This would be at the reduced fee of £40 for 50 minutes.
If you would then like to proceed with a series of sessions, these would be weekly at the same time. You don't need to decide by the end of the initial session whether you wish to continue working with me. Some couples know straight away that they would and others decide after the session. I ask couples to let me know by the end of the next day and I can hold the weekly session slot for them until then.
All sessions are online using zoom and adhere to strict privacy protocol.

Individual Sessions - Music Psychotherapy
I also offer Therapy using Music and Imagery for individual adults, which is an in-depth form of Music Therapy. If you are looking for a more creative and embodied approach to support with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, or to work through trauma this method can really help.

I have done a further in depth training in Music and Imagery, a form of Music Psychotherapy and I'm a Fellow with the Association of Music and Imagery - FAMI. I've had a private practice in Music Psychotherapy for over 15 years.
I offer sessions online using zoom with enhanced security and optimum audio settings for music. The reduced fee initial session gives you the chance to experience this creative method and see how it is to work with me and online. To find out more please see my website rezonance.co.uk
