About me

Creativity heals.  Art Therapy allows you to trust and feel safe exploring any difficult feelings you may be experiencing. As an experienced art therapist, I can offer a welcoming, contained space to work through past trauma.  This safety comes not only as your relationship evolves with me as your therapist, but also from experiencing the art materials as a way of exploring these feelings.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Additional information

Before we work together it is advisable to have assessment meeting. This will cost £25 for 50 minutes. If you agree that Art Therapy would be beneficial for you then it would be expected that you come once a week for at least 6 months. Sessions cost £60 for 50 minutes. I do operate a sliding scale for students and for clients on reduced income which can be discussed at the assessment meeting.
