About me

The therapeutic relationship is a sacred space that invites openness, honesty, and the power of genuine connection. I believe in fostering an environment of non-judgment and gentle exploration, where every part of ourselves is welcomed and nurtured.

My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in compassion, radical acceptance, and practices that support healing and transformation. Additionally, I draw upon somatic theory, recognising the profound role our bodies play in processing emotional and spiritual pain. Whether it's through developing a healthier relationship with our bodies or exploring techniques for integrating mind and body, I am dedicated to guiding you on your healing journey.

I work with adults facing mental health difficulties, individuals seeking to understand the impact of past experiences and those who wish to explore issues of identity, faith, spirituality, and neurodiversity. I am committed to helping you navigate your relationships with yourself and others, providing a safe space for exploration and growth.

Furthermore, I have a strong background as a child clinical psychologist, working extensively with diverse families and young people. I offer play therapy and incorporate my understanding of attachment and co-regulation to support parents, children and young individuals on their unique paths to healing and development.

By working together, we can embark on a transformative journey that embraces compassion, self-discovery, and empowerment. I invite you to take the first step towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.

Training, qualifications & experience

As an experienced therapist with a diverse background, I have dedicated myself to creating therapeutic interventions for individuals of all ages. I have a wealth of experience in the NHS, private sector, and charity organisations.

I am an HCPC registered child and adult clinical psychologist with attachment, somatic and play therapy aspects to my practice.

I have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and a BA in Neuroscience.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
