About me

Is anxiety, depression, or sadness affecting your daily life?

Are you impacted by trauma and unsure how to cope?

Has today been difficult?

Yesterday’s troubles won’t go away?

Does tomorrow feel like it will be much the same?

Seeking support is one the bravest things you can do and whatever your reasons for being here I am able to offer relaxed and non-judgemental support. We will explore positive ways forward which will enable you to live the life you deserve.

Jointly we can explore the negative thoughts and behaviours that may be holding you back which could include depression, addictions, anxiety including generalised anxiety disorder, low self-esteem, bereavement, abuse, anger management, self-harm, low self-confidence and relationship issues, OCD, panic disorders, family issues, phobias, feeling sad, overly worrying and others.

Together we can look to introduce positive coping skills to allow you to live the life you want. I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor, meaning I am able to introduce a variety of therapeutic solutions into our work including Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Personal Construct Theory, and Transactional Analysis. I am also experienced in delivering REWIND therapy for trauma survivors suffering the impacts of trauma and abuse.

I have many years of experience in delivering mental health support in the community including wellness and mindfulness. I currently provide sessional therapeutic support on behalf of EAP's nationwide and counselling support to survivors of rape and abuse both historical and recent via a local support centre, alongside my established private practice.

I offer short-term and open-ended therapy, and tailor my approach to each individual recognizing we all have different needs. Sessions are offered face-to-face or online for you should you be further afield from my location. A combination of access can also be arranged should you have work, childcare or caring responsibilities. Extended sessions are available with prior agreement should your concerns, issues or diagnosis suit this need. Rewind therapy is offered short-term ( three sessions) to work with trauma and phobia and is a non-disclosure treatment, please contact me for pricing and information on this treatment plan.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
