About me

I am a Therapeutic Counsellor first. I also work with the  assistance of therapy animals such as Fenton my therapy dog and others. I work with sand tray therapy and in a creative manner with an intergitive model.

I have been working in private practice for a fews years now and work mainly with adults and young people over 16. I have a split of around 80 % men to 20% women at any one time and am experienced in facilitating change for a diverse sector of our population.

Training, qualifications & experience

I qualified with NHS and have worked at Charities, Dr surgeries and in private practice. I initially started out mentoring in schools, before deciding to train as an integritive counsellor.

I trained with The society for companion animal studies (SCAS) and now also work with animals utalising their well known affect, on the psyche and mental health of those who choose to spend time with animals.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
