About me
I work with clients from a collaborative viewpoint. The therapeutic plan that we devise together, is bespoke and specific to your needs - there is no 'one size fits all!'
I am passionate about helping you to enjoy your life to the full so you can feel happy and confident. I am here to listen and hear your story in a non-judgemental and confidential space where time is spent focused on you, and, what you want to work through.
Training, qualifications & experience
Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice.
Level 4 Diploma in Counselling Skills and Theory.
Level 3 Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills.

Private Practice at Amanda Tooms Therapy and Wellbeing.
I have a lovely comfortable therapy room in Gillingham, Kent.
My preference is always to work in person, however I offer both in person and remote online via Google meet, WhatsApp or zoom.
Depending on session availability, I offer late night appointments on a Tuesday and Thursday.
I also offer specialist mentoring for students, employers and employees. Specialist areas include help with studying, leadership and management, work/life balance, preparing for promotion, performance reviews and all areas of managing personal difficulties in education and the performing arts.
