About me

I’m a fully qualified trauma informed psychotherapeutic counsellor and hypnotherapist. I support individuals and couples to find their way through 'life' struggles.  I believe that there is light in everyone, and that each of us deserves to be happy and valued.  My passion and drive is to support you with compassion and kindness throughout your therapeutic journey.

You might be struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, separation or divorce, bereavement, BPD, abuse or a medical diagnosis. You may feel lost, unheard or unsure of what to do next. Whatever you are going through, you do not have to face it alone.

I offer a safe and compassionate space where you can talk openly without fear of judgement or comparison. My practice is LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent affirming, and I welcome clients from all backgrounds. I will meet you where you are, helping you make sense of your experiences and find a way forward that feels right for you.

Why Work With Me

I know how it feels to live with trauma and deep sadness. My own experiences led me to counselling and through that, I realised that healing is possible. That journey inspired me to train as a counsellor and psychotherapist myself. There is light after darkness. You just need someone to walk beside you, who listens and holds space for you while you heal. I am here for you.

With a background in performing arts, education, leadership and management, I bring a wealth of experience in connecting with people from all walks of life. These experiences allow me to understand different perspectives, build strong and trusting relationships and tailor my approach to your unique needs.

Take the First Step

If you are feeling overwhelmed, lost or simply need someone to truly listen, I am here. There are no expectations, just a supportive space where you can be yourself. Reach out today and let’s begin the journey together.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
