About us

We are fully qualified integrative psychotherapists. Having worked in different settings including charities like Cruse Bereavement Services and Change Grow Live, the NHS and for an online low-cost therapy service, our practical experience is built on an excellent theoretical understanding of psychological modalities and presenting issues. However, psychotherapy is an art as well as a science. To be effective, it requires a relationship between client and practitioner founded on trust and mutual understanding. We therefore integrate clinical excellence with a warm, safe, non-judgmental, and person-centred approach to offer a culturally sensitive environment with no-rush appointments at a time and location that's convenient for you.

  1. Cultural sensitivity:
All adults are welcomed regardless of background. We are sensitive to diversity in culture and self-identity, including with respect to race, gender, and sexuality.
  2. No-rush appointments:
We believe that the therapeutic hour is the client’s time to decompress, talk, cry, shout, or just think. It’s an opportunity to look at your emotional issues with the help of a trained specialist who will not judge you. Understanding what ails you is often the first step to overcoming it. We will always therefore work at the client’s pace.
  3. Available where you are:
Therapy should be easily accessible. We offer appointments online, by telephone, by text and in person at your convenience. That means you can seek care at a time and location that's convenient to you.

Training, qualifications & experience

We are all trained to at least the level of PgDip level in Counselling & Psychotherapy. We stay abreast of the latest developments by continuously upskilling and learning. This is because our experience has shown that outstanding service occurs when clinical excellence intersects with client experience. Our aim therefore is to provide every one of our clients with outstanding service. Using a variety of techniques and modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Approach, Schema Therapy and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy we help our clients understand and address their issues.

Member organisations *

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.
