About me
Have you wanted to address your problems for a while but felt unsure about taking that first step? I will work with you at your own pace, creating a safe and confidential environment in which we can work through the issues you are facing.
We can work together through areas in your life that you may have found hard to deal with, with a clearer understanding of how your issues are affecting you, you can move on with support and find your direction in life.
I am a fully insured, qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor running a private practice in Beckenham, Penge and Heathfield for many years offering both short and long-term therapy.
I am the lead counsellor for Living Well Bromley working as psychotherapeutic counsellor offering counselling to the residents of Bromley and Penge areas.
I have also worked in the prison sector as a drug and alcohol practitioner.
I volunteer my time as one of the senior integrative therapists at Mind in Croydon, working with clients using different therapies for a range issues including Anxiety, OCD, Body dysmorphic disorder, Bereavement, Stress, Anger, and Depression.
Mind provides their volunteers with continuing personal development and supervision on a regular basis, which is an essential part of the counselling process set by BACP ethics and boundaries.
I also like working creatively in different ways, with visual therapy as this can be more rewarding for some clients who find it hard to open up about issues they may not want to face.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Single counselling £50.00 per 50 minutes.
