About me

Hello, my name is Sarah Reeve and I am a qualified integrative therapist, this means I am qualified in, person-centred, psychoanalytic, existentialism and CBT modalities of therapy. This entails me to be able to change my therapy technique to suit the needs of each individual client. I am based in Harlow, Essex and I offer in-person or online sessions that can either be long or short term.

I offer a warm, friendly and non-judgemental environment, within a confidential space, that is all yours to fill with whatever comes up for you, where you will feel safe, heard and accepted.

I have many years experience with working with those who have ADHD, OCD, depression and /or autism. Whether diagnosed or not, I can help you understand, explore more about them and find coping mechanisms.

Whatever it is that you are struggling with, I feel that getting to know you as a person, is key to working together to support you through your therapy journey.

Together, we will explore your past and see if there are any connections with your present situation, finding reasonings and answers within your life. We will work together through any emotion that comes up through your journey.

If you would like to book your first session with me please use the email button at the bottom of this page to do so.

Training, qualifications & experience

Bachelors with honours degree in integrative counselling Level 6. This is a BACP accredited course and I am a registered member of the BACP, working towards accreditation. I abide by their ethical framework.

I volunteered with 5th Avenue Counselling service, a low cost counselling service for Harlow. I worked with clients with many different concerns.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
