About me

Hello, my name is Sarah Reeve and I hold a BSc in Integrative Therapy. As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches including person-centred, psychodynamic, existential, Gestalt and CBT modalities. This allows me to adapt the way I work to suit the individual needs of each client, recognising that no two people or experiences are the same.

I am a registered member of the BACP and currently working towards accreditation. I am based in Harlow, Essex and offer both in-person and online sessions, on either a short-term or long-term basis.

“Therapy isn’t about fixing. It’s about weaving. I don’t mend you; I sit with you as you untangle what’s knotted and rediscover the threads that make you you.

I listen, and together we explore — tracing the patterns of your thoughts, feelings and experiences, gently finding the spaces where light can get in.

The journey is yours: your voice, your pace, your story. I simply hold the thread with you, steadily and compassionately, while you find your way through.”

I have experience supporting clients with ADHD, OCD, PTSD, CPTSD, depression and autism, whether formally diagnosed or currently being explored. I can help you better understand your experiences, explore coping strategies, and develop greater self-awareness and emotional understanding.

I also support clients experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, low self-esteem, and difficulties connected to past experiences or life events.

Whatever it is that brings you to therapy, I believe that getting to know you as a person is at the heart of meaningful therapeutic work. Together, we can explore connections between your past and present experiences, make sense of difficult emotions, and work towards greater understanding, healing and change at a pace that feels right for you.

If you would like to book an initial session or ask any questions, please feel free to contact me using the email button at the bottom of this page.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Arthritis is a delipidating disability that can affect any age! It is not just the elderly that go through this. I am 46yrs old and have severe osteoarthritis in both knees and zero fluid. The pain can be severe and being unable to walk or stand for more than the time it takes to make a tea is depressing. I understand how frustrating it is to suffer with arthritis!
