About me

Whether you are feeling depressed, anxious, or struggling with traumatic events, it can sometimes feel like nobody understands, and there is no clear path forward. This can impact your life, and the lives of those you care about. I have worked with many people who feel like this, and there is a way forward.

Everyone is an individual, which is why I chose to train in different styles of therapy, to understand what is going on for you, and together develop a plan to make things better.

I offer online sessions wherever you are based, and in-person sessions if you are located in the Oxfordshire or Buckinghamshire area (with off-street parking).

You’ve taken a big positive step by searching for a counsellor. Take another small step, call or email me using the buttons at the top of the page to arrange a free chat.

Alongside my main practice I specialise in working with neurodiverse people, such as ADHD and Autism, who can often find therapy stressful. Traits like stimming, masking, and hyperfocus can be misunderstood. If this resonates with you, contact me.

I am also passionate about mens mental health. Some men can be hesitant in reaching out for help, and can find the start of counselling frustrating. If you are a man looking for therapy, don’t be put off. I know from my own first hand experience, and extensive research during (and post) my training, that the benefits can be life changing. Reach out to me for a free, no obligation chat.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
