Understanding
Indeed, life is full of challenges and obstacles that can be overwhelming at times. It's important to recognise that seeking help and support is not a sign of weakness, but rather a strength. It takes courage to ask for help and to work through difficult situations.
Practice description
I offer a free 15-minute introductory session to chat through what brings you to counselling and in subsequent sessions, we delve deeply into issues at hand, and work collaboratively to create a plan for addressing them in ways that helps you get your lives back. My private practice provides support to a variety of presenting issues in both child/adulthood, such as Anxiety, Stress, Relationships, Loss and Grief, Sexuality and more. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter.
What I can help with
As a result of different life challenges, I help with people experiencing depression, anxiety, low-self esteem, trauma, bereavement, emotional or relationship problems. I provide a person centred and client's lead sessions, where you can explore how things truly means for you right now, working with you using the best suitable approach and supporting you to facilitate and identify your sense of self and inner strength which will help you gain clearer insight into yourself and the present situations.
What to expect
I am an active listener, trustworthy, non-judgmental, and passionate. I thrive to continuously create a safe, nurturing and warm counselling space for a healthy counselling relationship journey, where you will feel safe to talk about, explore and understand your thoughts and feelings. All my therapeutic counselling relationship journey are client focused, and clients driven regardless of the experiences and struggling.
My major goal is to enhance clients' effectiveness and ability to cope with problems or the situation at hand and facilitate behaviour change to establish and build good emotional well-being, develop coping mechanisms, improve you relationships, and achieve your personal goals towards your journey of healing and wellbeing. I will help and support your journey to the place where your self-awareness, self-identity, self-authenticity and happiness is no longer temporary.
Belief
I believe that everyone has the potential to lead a fulfilling, happy, peaceful and meaningful life, and I am committed to helping and supporting you to achieve that. I strongly believe we are all unique, and our experiences shape us differently. This is why I firmly believe that each individual requires a personalised approach in counselling and as we continuously journey to building a collaborative relationship based on trust, empathy, and understanding with clients as the top priority.
