About me

In your weekly sessions we can face, explore and challenge the beliefs and behaviours that you are feeling are holding you back, in a safe and quiet environment and work towards a positive outcome.

I am a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist accredited to The National Counselling Society, I offer professional help and support to individuals (including children 11 and above) and couples.

I use an integrative Approach to counselling, using a variety of therapeutic approaches and theories which can be tailored around your individual needs. I offer a trusting, confidential, friendly, safe and relaxing environment.

Counselling can help us find an understanding into why some of our behaviours have an impact on our lives, which can lead to us feeling anxious, stressed or even 'stuck' and not able to move forward. It is at this time you may need the benefit of talking to someone who is professional and impartial. My work with clients can be long or short term depending on your individual needs.

I have been qualified for nine years and have had my private practice for eight years, with experience in working in many fields including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm and abuse. I have seventeen years experience working with children in a school environment and I have undertaken current safeguarding, safeguarding children from abuse by sexual exploitation and suicide prevention training.

I aim to keep my prices as low as possible, as I believe everyone should be able to access counselling, it is well documented in the media that mental health issues are on the increase. I appreciate that financial pressures can have a huge impact on our lives, adding to stresses and anxiety.

If you are interested in booking appointments or just need more information, please do not hesitate to contact me via email or telephone

I look forward to hearing from you.
