About me
Welcome to my profile and thank you for considering working together to help you through a challenging time. It can feel a little daunting when you first consider therapy as it takes lots of courage to face our reality and fears and decide to take action. Seeking self-growth through professional therapy is one of the most compassionate things we can ever do for ourselves and our relationships.
My aim is to provide a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment, where you feel empowered to take an active role in your treatment and life. I wish to be alongside you as you navigate life's inevitable hardships, pain but also joy and achievements, and to help you live your life according to your values. It's not an easy journey, but it's worth the effort. The reward is great.
I am a Counselling Psychologist, with years of experience working with adults, older adults, teenagers and young people with a wide range of difficulties and disorders. I provide online therapy to individuals and couples, and I have experience in running anxiety and panic attack management and bereavement groups.
I hold a keen interest in working with people experiencing bereavement, self-worth/esteem, anger management, relational and attachment difficulties, as well as with existential issues, and people affected by cancer and other chronic illnesses.
Please get in contact if you would like to arrange an initial appointment to discuss what brings you to therapy and how we can best support you.
Training, qualifications & experience
- Doctorate in Counselling Psychology (DPsych), Glasgow Caledonian University
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology, University of Leicester
- I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
I have experience in practicing a range of evidence-based, therapeutic approaches, including the Person-Centred and Existential Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). I believe there is not a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, and therefore I work in collaboration with my clients and tailor treatment to meet their individual needs and preferences.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
