About me

I am a fully qualified psychotherapist with 9 years of clinical experiences.

Individual Psychotherapy:

I am a qualified psychotherapist, registered with UKCP and experienced in working with people to overcome various emotional difficulties and mental health issues. Weekly sessions are confidential and non-judgmental. I use a wide range of therapeutic models, offering thoughtful support with warmth, creativity and insight for creating changes you want and need in your life.

Whether you're experiencing relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, loss of direction, feeling isolated, navigating a transition or searching for meaning in your life, a course of individual psychotherapy can be a life-changing experience. During each session I will offer you the chance to talk about your experiences and help you to foster and facilitate a genuine interest in yourself. During therapy you can learn how to cope with your feelings, set appropriate boundaries and experience a growing resilience.

Couples Therapy:

I am also a fully qualified Relational Couples Psychotherapist, I work with couples who are experiencing difficult themes from fertility complexities, betrayal and everything in between, and sometimes it is something else that threatens to destroy their relationship. Often, working through these difficulties that have been created together can bring a deepening union and a new level of intimacy not previously experienced. Couples therapy can give you the space and safety to explore each others feelings so that you can honour your relationship, whether or not you decide to stay together or not. If you would like to give it a try, it's a good idea to come for an initial session with a view to deciding whether this is something, as a couple, you would like to pursue.

In both areas, I work with adults with a broad range of emotional complexities such as:

  • Refugee
  • Displacement
  • Death / Grief (recent or decades ago)
  • Uprootedness
  • Trauma (emotional & relational)
  • Violence against women
  • Gendered violence
