About me

I help people with emotional and mental health issues, improve their sense of well‐being, alleviate feelings of distress and resolve crises.

I am friendly and approachable. I love to connect with people and listen to their experiences while trying to understand what they’re going through. It is my passion to help people by offering them clarity and space to explore whatever problem they have.

The space I offer is one that believes you have what it takes to reach your potential, and that no problem is too big or small for therapy. If it is hindering your growth, there is space for it in therapy. Whether there is a specific issue you would like addressed or a deeper problem that perhaps stems from something else, I hope to help you be the you you want to be.

Will therapy help me?

There can be many reasons why therapy would not or did not work for you in the past, such as whether it's the right time for you or not, your relationship with the counsellor, and/or the type of therapy.

They say that success in therapy is largely dependent on the engagement and openness of the client and the relationship between counsellor and client.

Whether or not you find therapy with me beneficial is something worth exploring in our session.

I aim to...

  • Create a safe space for you to bring in parts of yourself that you would like to explore, understand, process, and/or change.
  • Share my insight and understanding of your experiences.
  • Provide a therapeutic relationship as a platform for personal growth through a judgement-free space

I hope to...

  • Help you achieve your goals.
  • Help you make any changes that you would like to make, and figure out how to best implement them for you.
  • Connect you with your internal-self, so you can continue to work on your betterment after therapy.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
