About me

Life can be a struggle and challenging at times, almost overwhelming where you need someone to talk to and explore the difficulties which you are experiencing in a safe and confidential space.

I am committed and passionate about helping and supporting people through difficult life experiences and challenges, to learn about themselves, their motivations and choices, to develop their internal understanding and make positive changes towards finding a way forward in life.

I have a wide knowledge of experience supporting people who are suffering from a range of mental health issues, generalised anxiety disorders, depression, panic attacks, stress, loss and bereavement, feelings of sadness, loneliness, isolation, lack confidence and low self-esteem.

I am an Integrative Counsellor offering an holistic approach using different theoretical approaches, combining them to best suit your individual needs which are Person Centered, Psychodynamic and Cognitive therapies to help create a safe space and build a professional relationship with you, so in time you can explore and find your own resolution.

I also practice the Rewind Technique Therapy which can help you to recover from traumatic and distressing past experiences that are effecting your well-being, mental health and quality of life.

Having previously worked in management for specialist Domestic Violence Charities for over 15 years I have gained experience, supporting victims of domestic abuse and have the knowledge and skills of the Freedom Programme and Recovery Toolkit.

I am a qualified counsellor and Registrant (Accredited) Member of the National Counselling Society for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their Ethical Framework.

In therapy the relationship is key to the success and I feel truly privileged for the expression of gratitude and kindness shown where the counselling journey has made a positive difference to someones life.

I would like to have the opportunity of offering a genuine and accepting therapeutic relationship to support you throughout your difficult journey so please get in touch for a counselling assessment so you can check if I am the right person to help support you, as it is important you feel comfortable and able to connect with me.  I can provide a one off session, short term or long term therapy according to your needs.

Please feel free to arrange an introductory call or drop me an email.
